Previous Behavior:
Previously, the 'In House (stay days)' condition in Duve's scheduled messages feature segmented users currently staying in the hotel based solely on their check-in and check-out dates. However, this logic overlooked the crucial factor of the time of day when the message was sent, leading to guests receiving messages after they had already left the hotel or before they had even arrived.
This resulted in guests receiving messages outside of their stay period, disrupting their experience and potentially causing confusion.
Current & New Behavior:
The condition name has been changed from 'In House (stay days)' to simply 'In House', reflecting a straightforward approach.
Messages will now be sent to guests based on their Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and Estimated Time of Departure (ETD).
- If the guest has not reported their ETA or ETD, the account's basic ETA and ETD will be used as fallback values.
