New! Enhanced Personalization for Guest Greetings in the Welcome pages – Duve

This article outlines the enhancement of guest greetings customization across Duve's Guest App, Online Check-In (OCI), and Online Check-Out (OCO). The feature aims to personalize guest interactions by allowing hosts to customize greetings in multiple languages, aligning with Duve’s commitment to delivering personalized guest experiences globally.

By releasing this feature, Duve aims to significantly enhance the customization capabilities of hosts, allowing them to offer a more personalized and linguistically inclusive experience to guests. This initiative provides guest management solutions that cater to diverse guest needs and preferences.

Overview

A "Preferred Greeting" field across the Guest App, OCI, and OCO platforms is now available to customize greetings based on host preferences and the default language of the account.

To set the Guest Greeting for the Online Check-in:

Go to Settings > Check-in > Basic - select Edit Welcome Page

Then a pop up will show the fields which can be updated.

Reservation Details - check the boxes for the details to be displayed on the first page of the Online Check-in.

To set the Guest Greeting for the Online Checkout:

Go to Settings > Checkout > Extra Customization - select Change Guest Greeting

To set the Guest Greeting for the Guest App:

Go to the Guest App Builder and select Styles.

Editing the Greeting:

To edit the Greeting in all supported languages, click the translations icon. Customize the text in the desired language and click Update to Save. Duve supports dynamic parameters such as guest's first name, last name, and title (where applicable) within the greeting text.
