We are thrilled to announce a new feature in our direct integration with Airbnb, now supporting pre-booking messages for all PMS. This enhancement allows hosts to manage and respond to pre-booking inquiries from Airbnb guests directly within the Duve communication hub, streamlining guest communication and improving operational efficiency.
Overview
With this new feature, all pre-booking messages from Airbnb will be pulled into the Duve communication hub. This allows hosts to manage inquiries from potential guests who have not yet made a reservation. By consolidating these messages into one platform, hosts can efficiently handle pre-booking communications, leading to better guest interactions and improved response time.
View Pre-Booking Messages:
- Pre-booking messages will appear under the "Open" section of the communication hub.
- Each message will display the guest's name, conversation ID, potential check-in, and check-out dates.
- The guest will appear as an anonymous icon with a link to their Airbnb reservation.
- An anonymous icon will appear as well.
Manage Messages: Hosts can manage these pre-booking inquiries just like regular messages, and edit guest details like name, phone number, and email address, however, it won't be matched automatically with the future guest's reservations.
Editing the Contact Information: Hosts can edit the contact information for the Pre Booking inquiries in the right hand side panel.
- Note: Adding the information in Duve will not sync the information back to Airbnb.
How to Set It Up
For Existing Connections: Go to the Existing Airbnb connection and enable the 'Inquiry messages'
For accounts who will connect: The Inquiry messages will be turned on by default
