New! Syncing Companions to Opera onPrem

We are excited to introduce a new feature designed to streamline the process of syncing guest details from Duve to Opera on-premises. This enhancement aims to save time and reduce manual labor for hosts by automatically creating guest profiles in Opera, including companions listed in the main reservations.

 

Overview

g. The new feature addresses this issue by ensuring all guest details, including those of companions, are synced directly to Opera on-premises as guest profiles, not just as comments.
 
The following list are fields that are synced to companions in Opera:

Field Mapping:

    • Default Fields:
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Email
      • Phone
    • Custom Fields (need to be configured in Duve as Custom Questions with Field Match):
      • Gender
      • Country
      • City
      • Address
      • Zip Code
      • Birthday
      • Document Type
      • Document Number

 

How to Set It Up

 

Configuration in Opera:

    • Ensure that the Opera PMS is configured with the ACCOMPANYING GUEST function enabled. This requires the Reservation group application function for accompanying guests to be turned on in Opera.
    • Refer to the Opera documentation: Oracle Opera 5.6 Help.

Enable AddAccompany in Duve connect & sync:

Go to the Connections page and click on the Opera onPrem. Enable the "AddAccompany" toggle. This setting allows Duve to push companion details to Opera as accompanying guests.image - 2024-06-16T143844.081.png
