Overview
Hosts using DuveConnect-Incoming can now push primary and secondary access codes at the reservation level. This enhancement is critical for integrating with third-party systems, particularly smart lock providers, and automating the delivery of access codes to guests. A new section named "Reservation details" was created to handle the access codes as part of the DuveConnect incoming setup
How to set it up
- Incoming Data Support:
- Enable DuveConnect to receive primary and secondary access codes into the Duve reservation page.
- To do this, select "Primary access code" and "Secondary access code" from the "Access scopes"/"Scope" dropdown menu under the incoming DuveConnect. The values will be inserted into these fields in the reservation.
- Access Code Fields:
- Hosts can maintain the same structure and logic currently used for additional fields, and also for access codes, ensuring codes are exposed to guests and integrated into all relevant areas of the platform - Guest App and messages with dynamic parameters.
- DuveConnect incoming page:
- Extend existing customization and permission settings to include the Access code fields.
- Now, Duve separates the "Additional fields" access scope from the "Access codes" list, allowing hosts to select whether DuveConnect is used for "Additional fields" or "Access codes" or both.
Hosts can setup DuveConnect for both capabilities and access codes and additional fields and values will be generated for the specific field according to the setup.
