Duve is committed to continuously improving its capabilities and integration with third-party systems. As part of this effort, we are enhancing the upsell page setup to include more identifiers per item. This enhancement addresses the current limitation where the payload sent by Duve includes a list of all items in the upsells/free services without specifying the exact item purchased by the guest. This improvement will enable third-party systems to sync and accurately indicate the purchased items.
Overview
The new feature allows for better integration between Duve and third-party systems such as Hotsose, HubOs, Alice, and Breezeway. By including specific item IDs in the payload, these external systems can now include an external ID per item on the upsells page. For example, a face towel might have an ID of 200, a hand towel of 205, a pool towel of 210, and a cleaning sheet of 300. This level of detail is crucial for seamless operations and ticketing in third-party systems.
How to Set It Up?
Create IDs for Items in the Third Party Software: Assign specific IDs to each upsell item within Duve. This applies to both single and multiple product types, and includes both paid and free upsells.
Access the Upsell Page: Navigate to the upsell page in Duve, where you can assign IDs to each item. These IDs will automatically be included in the payload sent to third-party systems.
Single Product Upsell
Multiple Product Upsell
Each item in a multi-product upsell will have an External ID field
Outgoing (Webhooks) Setup:
When selecting a trigger for orders, as an order is created/updated, the data point named "Order details" will include the Item's external ID as well
