The Knowcross integration with Duve enables seamless connectivity between Duve's guest management platform and Knowcross' powerful operational tools. This integration helps hotels streamline workflows and automate service requests.

How to Set It Up

1. Obtain a Knowcross Token

• Log in to your Knowcross account.
• Reach out to the Knowcross support team to obtain the following information:
  • private_key
  • public_key
  • property_id
  • API_url
  • knowcross_category_id

2. Configure Duve Connect

• Go to Settings > Connections > Duve Connect in your Duve dashboard.
• Go to the Outgoing tab and click Add New.

3. Set Up the Webhook

• Reach out to Duve Support or your Customer Success Manager to receive the endpoint URL.

• Use the appropriate API endpoint for your environment:

• Add the following custom headers:

  • Key: private_key | Value: <Your KnowCross private_key>
  • Key: public_key | Value: <Your KnowCross public_key>
  • Key: property_id | Value: <Your KnowCross property_id>
  • Key: knowcross_url | Value: <Your API URL provided by Knowcross>
  • Key: knowcross_category_id| Value: <Your Category ID provided by Knowcross>

4. Define the Trigger

• Set the trigger to execute when the order status is "Created" and the order type is "Custom Service."

5. Map Data Points

• Ensure the following fields are sent from Duve to Knowcross:
  • FirstName, VerifiedFirstName
  • LastName, VerifiedLastName
  • OrderDetails, ProductDetails
  • RoomNumber, VerifiedEmail
  • ExternalId (critical for mapping tasks correctly in KnowCross)

6. Set Up External ID for Services

• Go to Product > Manage > Services in Duve.

• Edit the selected service and update the External ID with a suitable service type ID from the table below:

Note: For identical Room PMS IDs, match the External System ID with the Knowcross Room Description field. Verify or edit this via Rooms > All Rooms > Select Room > Connectivity.
