Generate more revenues without effort by letting Duve offer your guests the option to book a late check-out in a smart process.
Here you can set a paid late check-out which will be displayed during the pre-check-out wizard and in the guest app.
How to set it up?
To set up the late check-out upsell, go to Settings > Check-out > Late check-out
First edit your preferences by clicking on Edit late check-out preferences, after you finish setting up your late check-out, Enable late check-out.
You can choose if you want your guest to pay instantly or by requiring approval.
- Instant booking is when you set your system to be ready for the guests to book the room straight away, without your approval.
- Require approval will be the option that you need to confirm manually the guest booking, you will be able to approve based on your room.
Here you can customize what the guest will see when this feature is offered to him, and also choose if you want this upsell to always be enabled or restrict it to a specific time you want this upsell to show.
Time frames & prices
In this field, you must choose the days you want the Late check-out option to be available.
There are two payment options in Duve:
- Payment by Cash/ Add to Hotel Bill (for hotels only)
- Payment by Credit Card (Payment by Credit Card is only possible if a payment provider is connected).
You can choose to enable discounts for the guests who will book their late check-out through Duve.
You can set how much discount the guest will receive, depending on how many days before the check-out service will be booked.
Cancellation policy rules
Set how much refund your guest will receive depending on the time of their cancelation. If no rule is set, the service will be 100% non-refundable.
Upsell auto message
Here you can determine what text the guest will see when receiving the message, and you can choose to add conditions to the message.
Right under the conditions, you can choose if you wish the message to be sent via SMS, WhatsApp, or Duve chat, and write the text you want the guest to receive when the upsell is offered to them.
Advanced options (optional)
Under the advanced options, you can add any emails that you want to receive orders. You can make sure that the reception email will always receive the emails as well.
The Billing Identifier field must be used according to your upsell/service setup in your PMS (Optima, Beds24). The name under the Billing identifier will need to match the name or ID of your PMS upsell exactly.
The Guest Experience
If the guest selects an ETD within the time frames set of the Late Check-out upsell, they will be shown only the Late Check-out option.
