At Duve, safeguarding your data is our top priority, which is why two-factor authentication (2FA) will be mandatory for logging into Duve's Frontdesk starting November 6, 2024.
Duve's Security Offerings to secure your account include:
- Multi Factor Authentication - is a security measure that requires a user to present two or more forms of verification before they can access an account, system, or service. By adding extra layers of security, MFA reduces the risk of unauthorized access, even if one factor (like a password) is compromised.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) - is a user authentication process that allows you to log in to multiple applications or websites using just one set of credentials, typically a single username and password. With SSO, you don’t have to remember and manage multiple usernames and passwords for different services.

How to Turn on Multi Factor Authentication
Multi-factor authentication will be enabled for your users, an email will be sent to their e-mail address, and they will be able to connect the multi-factor authentication app from their profile page. Enable the toggle on the page to enable the emails with the 2FA code.
Connecting the Authenticator
Once you enable the MFA button, a user can decide to add the code to be received via an Authenticator App. Click 'Connect Authenticator app' to generate a QR code to be added to the Application.
Download the Google Authenticator app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Scan the following QR code with the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
