Vitrea Smart Home Integration – Duve

Duve customers can now connect their Vitrea smart home account and pull control all the room panels from their Guest App! To connect to Vitrea, please reach out to Duve's Support team to proceed.

Overview

Vitrea Smart Home provides guests with the comfort of controlling their room from the Guest App by allowing them to open doors, switch lights on/off, and control the AC and room temperature.

Sync and control Vitrea smart panels using the Guest app. The new integration is compatible with the following amenities/functions:

Door locks
Room lights
"Do not disturb" sign
AC control - Current temperature, Mode and Speed

How to set it up?

Vitrea will install the MODBUS device in your network. Then the device will produce an IP address.

Once this setup is complete, contact Duve Support to provide you with an agent for the MODBUS.

Install Duve's Agent in the MODBUS until it generates a remote node ID.

Add this IP address and remote node ID to add in the credentials in Duve.

Setup in Duve

Go to Advanced, go to Keys and select Vitrea from the dropdown menu

In order to connect to Vitrea, fill the credentials from your Vitrea account

**The Guest needs to have Wi-Fi Connectivity in order to for guests to be able to access Vitrea from inside their Guest App.

Once the Vitrea key provider is connected, there will be no 'Synced Keys'. To add the Smart House Panels, you will need to import a CSV file.

How to format the CSV

* CSV row format is

* [0] = externalId (needs to be unique in the entire CSV)

* [1] = Name (readable name) = Alias

* [2] = DataPoint type = 1-on/off, 2 - fan speed , 5 - AC mode, 3 - Set temperature, 4- current temperature

* [3] = Group type

* [4] = RemoteAction - the remote code to do the request (format - {unitID}/{register}) e.g 100/1

* [5] = Property's externalId to auto connect to the property after knxKey create/update

* [6] = Indication that the on/off type is for turning on/off the A/C

* [7] = Door on/off auto delay of seconds counter

How to add a room to the CSV

Copy all the rows.

Edit the left column to be unique - 0_1_1, 0_1_2..... Each ID must be unique

Column 4 - 100/0,100/1,100/3.....

This is the room number - replace the 100 to your relevant room number and leave the / exist

For example if your room is 400,401,402 change the "100" to 400/0, 400/2

After uploading the CSV, if there is any update with rooms setup, import the CSV file again from the Vitrea connection page in Duve

Go to the Rooms/ Rentals page in your Duve account and go into each Room/ Rental and assign each key to the corresponding Room under Key Provider. Ech amenity that added should match the exact amenties of the room in Vitrea.

You're Done! Your guests will be able to access the Smart Home solution

Note: The panels will show to the guest in the Guest App only between the Hotel Check-in time until Checkout times set in Duve
The Guest App control will work in a radius of 500 meters from the location of the room
