Automatically allow the mobile keys by reservation status or manually allow each guest access to the mobile keys:
Notify your guests that they will be able to get their mobile key at their estimated check-in time
Create a Check-in option and Guest Area post ‘upselling’ the mobile keys - get your guests excited about a cool feature of their experience at your hotel!
Before/on the morning of Check-in:
- Check reservations that have selected Contactless Check-in and ensure that they have completed all the items necessary to be able to go into their Room
- Items needed:
- ID Document Scan
- Registration card signed via E-Signature
- Payment for Room & Tax
- Additional Hold
- Once all the items are completed, change your guest’s reservation status to ‘In-House’
- Items needed:
- Assign common door keys to reservation - go to Reservation and click Add.
Then you will see a dropdown of the common doors. Select as many as you would like the guest to access:
The Mobile Keys will automatically unlock based on the ‘In-House’ Reservation Status.
After the reservation status has changed and the guest goes to their Guest App, they will be able to see ‘Tap to Open the Door”!
After they tap…
The guest will now be able to enter their room!
