Duve has added an availability category to the Room Upgrade smart Tool to allow hosts to block showing the room upgrade to guests relative to their Check-in date.
The Guest will not be able to access the service anymore from any communication or link that was sent before the service availability was turned off.
How to Set it Up?
Go to your Room Upgrade upsell and go to the Availability section.
There are two options:
- Set to Always (Default state)
- Before x hours/days before the Check-in date
When setting x hours/days before check-in date, the upsell will show relative to the guest's Check-in date AND reported ETA or the Account's Earliest Check-in time (if the guest did not complete Pre Check-in).
Note:
- If the Room Upgrade upsell was sent in an email, visible in the Guest App or sent via a dynamic parameter when the Room Upgrade WAS available, and then the guest tries to access the service when the Room Upgrade IS NO longer available, they will see a message notifying them that the service is not available.
- After they will be forwarded to the Guest App.
