A sub-reservation is a reservation within a group that is linked to the main reservation. It is one reservation with multiple rooms.
Sub-reservations will only be indicated as connected to the main reservation on the Tasks page and within the reservation in Duve.
Important Note: There is no indication of sub-reservations on the main Reservations Page

Communications to Sub Reservations
Automatic Email Communications are limited for Sub Reservations in order to reduce the number of emails the Main Booker receives, as typically the Main Booker and the Sub Reservations have the same contact information.
Dynamic Parameter
- Total Number of Guests - will reflect
- Total Number of Rooms - will reflect the entire group of the Reservation
- Total Amount - will reflect only the main booker's reservation, not the sub reservations total
- Amount due - will reflect only the main booker's reservation, not the sub reservations total
Confirmation Email
- Sub reservations do not receive the Confirmation Email automatically
- Total Number of Rooms will reflect the entire group of the Reservation
- Total Number of Guests will reflect only from the main reservation
Pre Check-in Email
- Sub reservations do not receive the Pre Check-in Email automatically
E-Signature
- Total Number of Rooms will reflect the entire group of the Reservation
- Total Number of Guests will reflect only from the main reservation
Arrival Email
- Accounts with VR Property Type - Sub reservations receive the Arrival Email automatically if:
- There is contact information in the sub-reservation
- The conditions to send the Arrival Email are satisfied (i.e if completing online Check-in is required to receive the Arrival Email)
- Accounts with Hotel Property Type - Sub reservations do not receive the Arrival Email automatically
Pre Check-out Email
- Sub reservations do not receive the Pre Check-out Email automatically
Scheduled Messages
Scheduled Messages can now be sent to all guests including Sub Reservations, or only the Main Booker. This can be set in each Scheduled Message.
- Sub Reservation will receive the Scheduled Messages if:
- There is contact information in the sub-reservation
- The conditions to send the message are satisfied
- The "Send to" has been set to "All guests"
Access Codes
Access Codes will be sent according to the Settings of the Access Codes release found on the Company Info page in the Settings. Each room in a group of reservations is treated as a separate reservation, so for example, if it is required to complete Pre Check-in in order to release the codes, this must be done on each reservation, including the sub reservations.

FAQ:
If the contact information is the same for the whole group, does the main reservation still receive the arrival and scheduled messages for all the sub-reservations?
A: Yes. if the contact information is the same, the contact will receive the messages for all the rooms
