Guest Title is supported for Opera 5 & OHIP PMS

A new addition of Guest Title is available now in the Reservation page for Duve customers using Oracle Opera Hospitality 5.
 
As a host, if you would like to add Title to your guest messaging, it is synced by default to Duve. No additional setup is needed on the Host's side.
 
In the Reservation page, you will see the Title in the Booker section.

Titles which are Supported

  1.  Dr. / Dr
  2. Mr / Mr.  
  3. Mrs / Mrs.
  4. Miss
  5. Ms / Ms.
  6. Prof. / Prof
 

Localized Guest Title Fallback for OHIP PMS:

Duve reads the guest title (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss, Dr., Prof.) from your Opera Cloud profile through the OHIP connection and stores it on the guest's reservation, recognizes both English and French titles, and falls back to the next available source when a title is missing. This happens automatically, with no setup required.
 

Restrictions & Limitations

  • Only English and French titles are recognized. Titles stored in other languages are not converted.
  • Unrecognized titles are left empty. Duve does not guess a title or infer it from the guest's name or gender.
  • The list of supported titles is fixed and cannot be edited or extended from the Duve dashboard.
  • The title always comes from the PMS. It is not something you configure per property in Duve.
