This alert is designed to streamline the check-in process by providing precise notifications to hotel staff when a guest completes pre-check-in without scanning their ID or passport.
Previously, hotels received a standard alert in Opera Cloud when a guest completed pre-check-in via Duve. However, this alert did not specify whether the check-in was complete or partial, particularly lacking information on the ID/document scan step.
How to set this up?
In order to use this feature, please ensure the following setup is completed in OHIP.
Go to ADMINISTRATION>BOOKING>ALERTS MESSAGE
Add the code - PRECHECKINNODOCS - to the Alerts, which is for pre check in partially done
Setup in Duve
Go to Duve's Settings > Connections > PMS & Channel Manager's and enable Turn on Reservation Alerts on each OHIP connection.
UI in Opera
The alert will read 'Pre-check-in is partially done - Missing Passport\ID' and will be sent to the Opera Cloud alert section.
- Reservation Logs Update: This alert will also be recorded under the reservation logs on Duve's reservation page with the same message name.
