How to Set It Up
Duve Setup:
Go Settings > Connections page and click on the OHIP Connection.
Set up the IP addresses in the field to ensure that the link is only usable from the relevant hotel IPs, which are being used in the hotel.
Finding the hotel/user/device IP: https://whatismyipaddress.com/
You can add more than 1 IP, and the links will work. Please note that all IPs have to be added manually.
OHIP setup:
Step 1 - Enable Customization Mode

1. Log in to OPERA Cloud.
2. Click the side menu and select Settings.
3. Under Customization, select Hub/Property Level.
4. Click Save.
You will see a customization banner appear at the top of the page confirming that customization mode is active.
Step 2 - Open a Reservation
──────────────────────────
1. From the main menu, go to Bookings > Reservations > Manage Reservation.
2. Search for any reservation and open it by clicking the Confirmation Number.
Step 3 - Add the Duve Flex Link
──────────────────────────
1. On the reservation overview page, click the gear icon (⚙️) on the right side of the panel where you want the link to appear.
2. Click Add Field > Flex Field > Add Link.
3. A new window will open. Fill in the following:
• Text: Duve Upsell (or any label your team prefers)
• Destination: Paste the URL provided by Duve in this field
• Displayed: Yes
• Launch URL Mode: New Browser Tab (recommended)
• Then click the </> button and click Evaluate:
• Then Apply:
4. Click Save.
5. Click Close Customize.
• The Duve link will now appear on all reservations and can be clicked directly by your front desk team without leaving OPERA Cloud.
Step 4 - Disable Customization Mode
──────────────────────────
1. Go back to the side menu and click Settings.
2. Under Customization, select Off.
3. Click Save.
Use Cases

Arrival at Reception:
- A guest arrives at the reception desk.
- The receptionist opens the reservation in Opera.

Accessing Upsells:
- Via a link in the reservation, the receptionist can access all upsells relevant to the guest profile.
- The link provides a direct path to the guest’s upsell options in Duve, ensuring a seamless experience.

Proposing and Booking Services:
- The receptionist proposes relevant upsells, such as room upgrades or additional services, directly through the OHIP interface.
- The guest agrees to the upsell, and the receptionist books the service via Duve.
