Duve now supports syncing Document Type, Document Number and Second Last Name between the basic details/custom questions section in Duve and the corresponding field in Mews PMS. This capability ensures seamless mapping and syncing of document-type information for both the main booker and companions, enhancing data accuracy and efficiency during the online check-in process.
How to Set It Up
- Enable Document Type Field in Duve:
- Go to Settings > Custom Questions/Basic details in Duve.
- Add or update a question to collect the document type during the guest’s online check-in process.
- Map Document Type Field to Mews:
- In the Custom Questions/Basic Details section, create options for the guests to select from. For example:
- Passport, Driver's License, Identity Card and Travel Visa.
- Verify that all document types supported by Mews are included in the mapping.
- Real-Time Sync:
- Duve will automatically sync the document type information for the main booker and companions to Mews upon the completion of the online check-in.
Second Last Name
Create a Custom Question for "Second Last Name".
Add the field match for "Second Last Name".

Document Type:
Create a Custom Question for multiple choice, named "Document Type".
In the field match section, select the relevant field match to correspond with the right field in Mews:
"Type Of Document"
Note: Add the Labels & Codes as written exactly below in order to ensure the mapping between the platforms.

When syncing Document type to Mews, it will show in the Document Type section:

National ID/DNI Number
Create a Custom Question for "Support Document Number".
Add the field match for "National ID number/DNI".
In order for this field to sync, there must also be a setup for Document Type question and Document Number question (field match should be set to ID/Passport)
