As for the daily process of hotels, changing room rates are common as properties aim to optimize revenue. Duve introduces the feature: Dynamic Pricing for Room Upgrades. By integrating with advanced revenue management solutions, Duve ensures guests get real-time pricing for room upgrades, making room rate adjustments as smooth and accurate as possible.
This feature is currently supported for Mews PMS. The feature is live by default with the integration, setup of the Room Upgrade upsell in Duve is required.
Overview:
The newly launched dynamic pricing in Duve sources upgrade rates live, offering guests room upgrades based on the most recent pricing, directly pulled from Mews Rate Ids. This ensures that the room upgrade prices offered in Duve are always in sync with the hotel's revenue management strategies, enhancing the chances of upselling.
Dynamic pricing requests will be triggered:

- When the guest app or online check-in page is opened.
- When guests navigate to the Room Upgrade section.
- Upon price changes during the guest’s journey.

How to Set It Up
To enable dynamic pricing for room upgrades through the Mews PMS, follow these steps:
Go into Mews PMS, go to Menu > Settings > Services. Click on the Service you are setting up the Room upgrade for

- Use the Ellipsis on the far right to copy the Rate ID
In Duve, configure the Default Pricing as Dynamic and then select 'Current Price' and select 'Fixed'
Fixed
Enter the Rate IDs in the fields per desired Upgraded Room Type.
If there are any errors in the sync, Duve will show the fallback price
Enable Live Pricing:

- In the Advanced Options, toggle the option: ‘Check live pricing from Mews’ to fetch the latest nightly rates.
- When live rates are not available, Duve will fall back to static pricing (pre-configured in Duve).
