Duve now allows you to control when guests see messages, posts, upsells, and custom menu items based on whether they are staying at the property — and when they are staying.
The Guests In-House visibility conditions help ensure that content is shown only to relevant guests during the correct time of their stay. This is especially useful for seasonal offers, recurring activities, and time-sensitive services.
This helps reduce operational effort, avoid guest confusion, and improve engagement.
Where Are Guests In-House Conditions Available?
Guests In-House conditions can be used across the following Duve features:
Scheduled Messages
Posts
Custom product Upsells

Custom Menu Upsells
Early check-in and Late check-out do not have these abilities.
The same logic applies consistently across all of these areas.
The In-House condition
Use it to show upsells only to guests who are staying at the property during a specific time.
"Now" – shows the upsell only to guests who are currently in-house
"During specific date(s)" – shows the upsell only to guests whose stay overlaps with a selected date range
Example use cases:
Offer a Halloween dinner only to guests staying between October 28–31
Show a spa promotion only during a holiday weekend
In-House Weekday
Use this condition to show upsells only to guests who are in-house on specific weekdays.
You can select one or more weekdays:
Common use cases:
Promote a weekly yoga class every Monday
Show a Friday wine tasting offer only to guests staying on Fridays
Display recurring activity reminders during a guest’s stay
How to Set It Up by Feature
Scheduled Messages
Create or edit a scheduled message
Choose a Trigger
3. Under Conditions, select:
In-House (Now or During specific date(s)), and/or

In-House Weekday
**There is a "Repeat weekly" trigger toggle, which appears only when the Specific date trigger is selected- you might want to us that!
Once enabled, the message is sent weekly based on the selected weekday logic
Messages are sent only to guests who are currently in-house
Example:
A message is scheduled for Tuesday and Weekly Recurring is enabled, and the condition In-House Weekday = Wednesday is applied
Result:
Each week, the message is sent on Tuesday only to guests who will be in-house on the upcoming Wednesday
Guests receive the message only during the week that overlaps with their stay
This is ideal for recurring activities like:
Weekly tastings
Fitness classes
In-house events
Posts
Create or edit a post
Open Visibility settings
Add an In-House or In-House Weekday condition
Save the post
Posts will appear only to guests whose stay matches the selected condition.
Upsells
Create or edit an upsell
In the Product Is Visible To section, add a condition
Select In-House or In-House Weekday
Save the upsell
This ensures guests see only upsells that are available during their stay.
Custom Menu Items
Edit a custom menu item
Configure Visibility conditions
Select In-House or In-House Weekday
Save changes
Menu items will be displayed only when relevant to the guest’s stay dates.
