Duve pulls US tax breakdown for OHIP

Duve has a new feature that is set to streamline payments for hotel reservations in the United States.

 

The new feature will allow for the synchronization of US taxes and fees, ensuring that guests using Duve payment link will pay the full amount of their reservation upon completing the Pre Check-in.

 

Prior to this new feature, the payment for stay price synced to Duve did not include the fees and taxes that are part of the reservation price in the US.

 

Duve now syncs the 'Facility Fee' (as a Package) and all reservation taxes under the "Taxes" field in OHIP PMS. The breakdown of the taxes will show in the Extra Charges Breakdown in the Payments section of the Reservation. The dynamic parameter {{extraChargesPrice}} will display the breakdown in all communications.

 

This will provide greater visibility for guests to view their payment breakdown, as well as allow our hotels to ensure their guests are completing all payments in the Online Check-in.

 

 

 

In your OHIP account, prices for the service in OHIP need to be set as a price Before tax. And the tax is an add-on, in order for it to match the one in Duve.

 

In the OHIP connection in the Connect & Sync page, click 'Sync taxes' in order to pull all US taxes into Duve.
