You can choose if you want your guest to pay instantly or by requiring approval.
Instant booking is when you set your system to be ready for guests to book the room straight away, without your approval. If the upsell is set to Instant booking, the upsell will only be offered when the room does not have a reservation for the night after the stay.
Require approval will be the option that you need to confirm manually the guest booking; you will be able to approve based on your room. If the upsell is set to Request Approval, the upsell will always be available for booking, regardless of your occupancy.
Availability
Customize the Upsells' Visibility to guests, Update a Description and set the Display image to guests.
Time frames & prices
In this field, you must choose the days you want the Late check-out option to be available.
Payment options
There are two payment options in Duve:
Payment by Cash/ Add to Hotel Bill (for hotels only)
Payment by Credit Card (Payment by Credit Card is only possible if a payment provider is connected).
Discounts (Optional)
You can choose to enable discounts for the guests who will book their late check-out through Duve.
You can set how much discount the guest will receive, depending on how many days before the check-out service will be booked.
Cancellation policy rules
Set how much refund your guest will receive depending on the time of their cancelation. If no rule is set, the service will be 100% non-refundable.
Built in Late Checkout auto message
Here you can determine what text the guest will see when receiving the message, and you can choose to add conditions to the message.
Right under the conditions, you can choose if you wish the message to be sent via SMS, WhatsApp, or Duve chat, and write the text you want the guest to receive when the upsell is offered to them.
Advanced options (optional)
Under the advanced options, you can add any emails that you want to receive orders. You can make sure that the reception email will always receive the emails as well.
The Billing Identifier field must be used according to your upsell/service setup in your PMS (Optima, Beds24). The name under the Billing identifier will need to match the name or ID of your PMS upsell exactly.
Managing Account vs. Brand Settings
Late Check-Out can be managed at both Account and Brand levels.
Default Behavior
Brands automatically inherit Late Check-Out offers from the Account level.
Override Behavior
Activate the Override toggle at the Brand level to create custom offers.
Once enabled:
Account-level offers will no longer apply to that brand
You can define brand-specific Late Check-Out offers

When a message from the Late Checkout auto message is being sent to guests, there will be a log in the Communication Hub that the "Built in Late Checkout auto message" was sent.
