Guests increasingly want more control over their stay, and skipping room cleaning has become a popular choiceת both for privacy and sustainability. With Duve’s Skip Room Cleaning integration with Gotickin, guests can easily opt out of housekeeping for specific days. At the same time, hotels automatically keep their housekeeping teams aligned, eliminating the need for manual follow-ups or task updates.
This integration connects guest preferences in the Duve Guest App directly to Gotickin, ensuring every skip request is reflected instantly in the hotel’s task management workflow.
Supported Task Types:

How to set it up
Setting up Skip Room Cleaning with Gotickin is simple and done entirely on the host side.
Integration Requirements
- Node - API Nodeid
- User - API username provided by Gotickin
- Password - password for your API user
- Complex - name of the complex/Hotel
In the meantime, start the Setup steps:
1. Enable the Skip Room Cleaning upsell
In the Duve dashboard, create and activate the Skip Room Cleaning upsell for your property.
Make sure it’s visible to guests during their stay.
2. Connect Gotickin
Add your Gotickin API credentials in Duve.
Duve securely stores the API key and uses it to authenticate requests.
3. Configure guest experience
Guests will see a clear option to skip room cleaning in the Duve Guest App.
A date picker allows them to choose a day during their stay.
Check-in and check-out dates are automatically excluded.
4. Go live
Once enabled, every guest request is automatically sent to Gotickin.
Each request creates a reservation log entry in Duve showing whether it was sent successfully or failed.
If a request fails, Duve retries automatically and logs the outcome for easy troubleshooting.
