When a reservation includes multiple rooms, each room is managed as a sub-reservation in Duve. This feature allows guests—especially the main guest—to invite occupants of each room to access their own personalized GuestApp.
By enabling invitations per room, all guests in the reservation can enjoy full access to digital services such as mobile keys, access codes, stay details, and communication with the property.
How it works
Accessing the Invite Screen
Guests can open the Invite screen from:
- The GuestApp Shortcuts
- The Side Menu
Inviting Sub Reservations to their Guest App
The Main Booker goes to the Invite button in the Guest App
Each room includes:
- Room name
- Number of adults and children (if available)
Main guest name (if available)
When clicking Invite next to the relevant room, guests can share the invitation to the guests who will be staying in those rooms
When choosing the Copy link, the link is copied to the private GuestApp link to your clipboard
Or Choose the Share, it opens the guest's device’s sharing options (e.g., WhatsApp, email)
What happens after sending an invite?
When a guest opens the invitation link, they are directed to a Quick Check-In flow, which includes:
- Welcome page
- Contact information form
After completing, they gain access to their personalized GuestApp, including room-specific features.
FAQ
Can I invite guests to rooms other than mine?
Only the main guest can invite guests to all rooms in the reservation. Other guests can invite companions to their own room only.
What link is shared when I invite someone?
Each invite sends a private GuestApp link to its main guest of the specific room.
What will invited guests see first?
They will go through a short check-in process before accessing the GuestApp.
Can I resend an invite?
Yes. After a guest completes check-in, the option changes to “Invite again”, allowing you to resend the link if needed.
Can I copy the invite link instead of sharing it directly?
Yes. You can choose to copy the link and send it manually via any platform.
