Q: I set the late check-out price as “% of stay/Accommodation”, but it’s not showing to guests. Why?
A:
When late check-out is priced as a percentage of the stay, the system needs access to the reservation’s accommodation amount to calculate the price.
This amount is usually retrieved from your PMS. However, not all PMSs provide this information in the same way.
For PMSs that support it, we attempt a live sync at the moment the guest opens the page, we ask the PMS for the latest folio, save the rent amount on the reservation, and use it immediately to calculate the LCO price.
Supported PMSs:
For certain PMSs, Duve performs a live folio sync when the guest opens the late check-out page. This means we fetch the latest accommodation amount in real time and immediately calculate the price.
Supported PMSs include: Mini-hotel, Mews, Opera On-Prem, Opera Cloud (OHIP), Tokeet, Apaleo, Stayntouch, RMS, GuestLine, SihotV2, Thais, Infor, Guesty API, Hostaway, Mister Booking V2.
- Other PMSs and OTAs:
For PMSs that do not support live folio sync, the accommodation amount may not be available if it wasn’t initially provided with the reservation. In these cases, Duve cannot calculate the percentage-based price, so the late check-out option will not appear to guests.
