What "No Post" means
In the Duve-OHIP integration, "No Post" indicates that a guest is not permitted to charge purchases to their hotel folio ("Add to hotel bill" in Duve).
When OHIP sends "No Post = Yes" for a reservation, Duve will automatically hide the "Add to hotel bill" payment option for that specific reservation, so the guest cannot post charges to their folio through Duve.
Requirement: Enable "Disable ‘Add to Bill’ payments" toggle
For this behavior to take effect, "Disable Add to hotel bill" must be enabled under Settings → Guest Billing → Advanced.
If it is disabled, the No Post flag does not affect the payment options shown, and "Add to hotel bill" remains available to all reservations.
How it applies per reservation
The restriction is applied individually, based on the flag OHIP sends for each reservation:
- Reservations flagged "No Post = Yes" will not see the "Add to hotel bill" option once the toggle is enabled.
- All other reservations continue to see Add to hotel bill as usual.
Effect on offers and payment methods
- Bill-only offers become unavailable to the affected reservation, since folio charging is the only payment route.
- Offers that also accept card or cash remain available, but the bill-payment option is removed. Guests can still pay by card or cash.
- Card and cash payments are never affected by the No Post flag.
Troubleshooting
"Add to hotel bill" still shows for a "No Post" guest.
- Confirm that Conditional Add to bill is enabled under Settings → Guest Billing → Advanced. Without it, the No Post flag is ignored. Also check the reservation timeline to verify that OHIP actually sent "No Post = Yes" for that reservation.
An offer disappeared entirely for a No Post guest.
- This is expected if the offer was bill-only, since folio charging is its only payment route. To keep the offer available to "No Post" guests, configure it to also accept card or cash.
