At Duve, safeguarding your data is our top priority, which is why two-factor authentication (2FA) will be mandatory for logging into Duve's Frontdesk starting November 6, 2024.
Duve's Security Offerings to secure your account include:
- Multi Factor Authentication - is a security measure that requires a user to present two or more forms of verification before they can access an account, system, or service. By adding extra layers of security, MFA reduces the risk of unauthorized access, even if one factor (like a password) is compromised.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) - is a user authentication process that allows you to log in to multiple applications or websites using just one set of credentials, typically a single username and password. With SSO, you don’t have to remember and manage multiple usernames and passwords for different services.
Multi Factor Authentication
By Default, all Duve customers will have 2FA when logging in.

Username and Password
When logging in via username and password, Duve will then send an email with a Magic link to login to your Duve Account. Please note that a user will receive the login link to their email address associated with their Duve user.
After clicking on the Magic Link, the user will be asked to Confirm the login and then be logged into their Duve account.
How to Turn on Multi Factor Authentication via an Authenticator App
Go to Edit Profile > Security
Connecting the Authenticator
Once you enable the MFA button, a user can decide to add the code to be received via an Authenticator App. Click 'Connect Authenticator app' to generate a QR code to be added to the Application.
Download the Google Authenticator app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Scan the following QR code with the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
That's the process for enabling the MFA options!
