Keynest Integration

Connect your Duve account to Keynest and automatically send your guests Keycode access before arrival

The article below will explain how to connect Duve to your Keynest account and manage key code automation in 2 easy steps.

Overview

When connecting Keynest to your Duve account, a code from Keynest will be generated automatically upon reservation creation. The code will be active for the timeframe of from Check-in to Checkout date.

The integration does not support the change of room allocation, reservation extensions and reservation date changes as Duve only pulls the code once from Keynest. If there are any changes made to the Reservation, the access code will have to be handled manually.

Manual updates of ETA and ETD and Early Check-in and Late Checkout are not supported.

Duve does not support reusable codes with the integration not creating timeframes for the keys.

Note: Duve supports Keynest API v3.

Go to Settings > Connections > Keys and select Add New. Add the Username for the account and click Connect.

The screen will refresh with your KeyNest Lock connection if successful.

Enter the KeyNest Connection and check that the correct number of doors have synced.

Then, go to each Room and attach the Key from Keynest to the rental in Duve. Do this for all the rentals in Duve.
