Overview
The TESA access code integration aims to streamline the process of managing room access for guests. By incorporating TESA’s capabilities into Duve, hosts can generate and manage access codes more efficiently.
The access codes from TESA will appear on the guest's Reservation page in the 'Add Rental / Keybox Code' section of the Reservation.
The codes will be synced from TESA when the reservation is created in the Duve account, with the timeframe set from earliest Check-in time in the account to the latest Checkout hour. When the guest adds their ETA and ETD within the Online Check-in or Checkout respectively, the timeframe that the guest can use the code will be adjusted automatically.
The keys are created when reservation created but the codes will appear according the access codes page in the company info.
The codes in TESA are only active to guests from Check-in time until Checkout time which will match the timeframes listed in TESA. Purchasing Late Checkout through Duve will automatically adjust the timeframes. Purchasing Early Check-in through Duve will not adjust the timeframes in TESA automatically.
Handling ETA Changes: If a guest initially sets their ETA to 8 AM and then changes it to 7 AM, the existing access code will not allow entry. In such cases, the host must check out the guests and check them back in using the Tesa system. This procedure also applies if the earliest check-in time is set by the company settings.
