In the initial sync, Duve only pulls rooms and its corresponding reservations.
In order to sync the new rentals/rooms into Duve, there must be reservations on the rentals for the rental to sync.
Instructions:
- The first step is to create a test reservation on each rental in the PMS (please follow the How to Create a Test Reservation in Duve article).
- Once a test reservation is created on each rental, go to your PMS & Channel Managers page
- Click on Full Sync:

4. Check your Dashboard for the new Notification called 'Reservation full sync completed'

Once you see that the sync with your PMS was successfully completed, check your Rentals page for the rentals you were looking to sync.
5. Once you see the Rentals in Duve, you're done! Go ahead and delete/cancel the test reservations in your PMS.
Troubleshooting Duplicate Rentals
Q: I see that I have 2 rentals/rooms in Duve with the same Room number. How does this happen and how to manage it?
A: If there is a rental with the same name in Duve, please use these steps to troubleshoot:
Context: Duve uses the 'External ID' to identify unique rentals synced from your PMS.
- Check the External IDs column of both rooms - are they the exact same? See the screenshot below - Room Number is the same but the External IDs are different:
- If External ID is the same on 2 rentals, please remove the External ID from 1 rental and deactivate the duplicate to ensure that the reservation sync will be unaffected.
- If the External ID is not the same, please reach out to Duve Support to investigate further
