Verifying your Facebook Business Manager account

In order to purchase a Custom Phone Number for your Duve Account, your Facebook Business Manager must be verified.

If the Verification is available to be started, click Start.

If your Facebook Business Manager is Ineligible for Verification, you must unlock the Eligibility in your Facebook Business Manager. 

3 Steps to Complete to Unlock Verification:

1. Add at least 2 Business Admins
   • Go to Settings > Security Center > Click Add and configure another user in the account to be an Admin
2. Two users need to have 2 factor authentication enabled
   • Click on the dropdown menu under Who's required to turn on two-factor authentication? and enable all admins or everyone. 
3. Create an App in your Developers account
   
   • Click on Accounts > Apps > Create new App ID
     • If you are not able to click Create new App ID, you must confirm your user on the Developer account

How to Create an App

Disclaimer: Your guests or users within your Facebook page will not see this app. It is only needed in order to unlock Verification. 

1. Select Business as your App Type

2. Add an App Name and Email Address. Click Create App and then enter your Facebook password again. 

3. After creating the App, navigate to the Settings

4. Enter a valid Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy URL and select Category "Lifestyle"

4. Scroll down and click Start Verification

To finish, you will be asked to provide information and documentation to Facebook to prove that the business is active and legitimate. 

Once the verification process is done, it will take around 5-10 business days for Facebook to confirm that the Facebook Business Manager is verified.
