Duve customers can now connect their Dormakaba Code account and pull access codes into Duve! To connect Dormakaba Codes, please reach out to Duve's Support team.

Dormakaba integration releases the codes shortly after the Reservation is created in Duve. Every customer has its own Check-in and Check-out hours set in its Dormakaba account per room. This is the only parameter that is taken into consideration for the time frames that the guest is allowed to enter the room. The Check-in and Check-out hours set in Duve are not relevant for Dormakaba codes.
The access codes from Dormakaba ECode will appear on the guest's Reservation page in the 'Add Rental / Keybox Code' section of the Reservation
The codes will only be sent/shown to the guest based on the Auto Release by Reservation status OR by sending the Arrival information.

How to set it up?
Connect Dormakaba eCode to your Duve Account
First, locate your unique Site Name and your username on the top right.
Once you have the Site Name and the username from your Dormakaba account, please reach out to email@example.com so we can proceed with Dormakaba.
Setup in Duve
Duve Support team will confirm that you can move forward with the connection in Duve.
Go to Advanced and select Dormakaba E-code from the dropdown. To finish the connection, add the Site ID from the Dormakabaaccount and Click Add.
After connecting, you will be able to see your Dormakaba Ecode connection.
Automating your Dormakaba Access Codes
The Key Release Automation can be configured based on Reservation Status or based on timing of when the Arrival information is sent to the guest.
Set up for Each Room
Each Door must be allocated to a Door Category after sync
- Each Door connected to a Room must be listed as Guest Door
- To Allow Common Door Access, the door must be listed as Common Door/Entrance
Allow Common Doors
Add any common Doors under 'Allow all guests the keys' to allow the extra access to all guests
To add a door to a specific rental, you may assign it by tags ➝
Go to the Rooms/ Rentals page in your Duve account and go into each Room/ Rental and assign each key to the corresponding Room under Key Provider.
Save. When the key is saved, the field will be marked in blue.
Done! Your guests will now be able to access their access codes from their Guest App!
Handling Early Check-in & Late Checkout:
The guest's time frames are set by default in their Dormakaba account. To allow your guests to book early check-in and late checkout, the time frames in Dormakaba must account for those time frames. Please note that if the time frames in Dormakaba allow the guest to enter earlier than your Earliest Check-in time, the codes in Duve will be active based on the timeframes in Dormakaba.
Manual Enable/Disable Functionality:
To further enhance control over key access, Duve incorporates a manual enable/disable feature through the Reservation/Tasks page. Similar to the functionality of a mobile key, you can now grant or revoke access to their property with a click of a button. This capability ensures optimal security, especially in situations where access privileges need to be altered on short notice. The integration of Duve and Dormakaba E-Code Access empowers the flexibility to manage your properties effectively.
To enable, go to the Tasks page and click on the Key icon to enable the code. The icon will turn green.
To disable the code, click on the Key icon to revoke.
