Best Practices Flow:
The QR codes can be sent via the following:
Option 1: A dynamic parameter(URL link) in a post in the Guest App
Option 2: A 'button' in the Guest App which will lead to the QR code
Option 3: A dynamic parameter(URL link) in one the emails/messages
{{KeyDispenserCode}}

- When guests click the link it will Navigate them to the guest app and will open a pop-up displaying the QR code.
- The dynamic parameter is accessible in various communication channels including:
- Guest App Posts
- Pre-check-in/Confirmation Emails
- WhatsApp Messages
- SMS Messages
FAQ
Q: How secure is the QR code system?
A: Highly secure! Each QR code contains a unique PMS Reservation Id and Secret key, ensuring only the rightful guest can access their key.
Q: What happens if a guest loses their QR code or cannot access it upon arrival?
A: If a guest loses their QR code or has difficulty accessing it, they can request a new one through the Duve guest app. Alternatively, the hotel's front desk can also generate and provide a new QR code through the Duve platform. Always encourage guests to save the QR code link or the actual QR image in a safe and easily accessible place upon receipt.
