Duve Connect is a Duve feature created to help our customers who would like to push information from third parties into Duve. For access to this feature and to learn more, please contact your Customer Success Manager or Duve Support (support@duve.com).
How it works: The third-party needs to connect to Duve's API using the provided code add-on, and then input the access token so that Duve has authorization to push and receive information from the app. Once all these steps are completed, hosts can use the dynamic field throughout the guest journey, including in the guest app, online check-in, communications, and check-out.
In order to properly complete the Duve Connect setup, the following setup must be completed first.
Scenario: Your third party supplier is connected to your PMS, and wants to add details into the reservation additional field. However, in order to sync information to Duve, you need the Duve Reservation ID.
Duve has developed support to connect your PMS Sync Source to your Duve Connect, in order to ensure that all the data sent to Duve will be placed to the correct additional field.
Important Note:
- Duve Connect can only connect to 1 Connect&Sync Source to a Duve Connect connection.
- If the synced source feature is enabled, the requests to the incoming connection can only populate reservations from that synced source.
