Duve is happy to introduce a comprehensive enhancement to its review system, providing the flexibility to customize questions, ratings, and overall guest interaction in the online check out wizard.
Hosts can now customize the three rating options according to their property type. Whether it's about the staff, cleanliness, or overall satisfaction.
Note: Hosts can activate each step individually, but please note that backward adjustments are not supported. Additionally, any changes will have a direct impact on your analytical data.
Overview
Duve has revamped the 'Reviews' feature, now known as 'Rate and Review,' to align seamlessly with various accommodation types. The focus is on offering hosts a customizable and intuitive system that ensures clarity, better engagement, and a richer feedback experience. In case the rating page is disabled then the review page will be hidden and not relevant because there is no rating.
How to Set It Up
Rating Section:
Settings > 'Rate and Review'
Enable the Rating sections for the guest to be able to rate their stay based on the three rating categories that you select.
Click the toggle to make this step mandatory for all guests to complete in the Pre Checkout.
The Rating categories are specific to the Property Type set in the Duve account. Click the dropdown to see what is available to show to your guests.
Review Section:
Guest Experience: 2 Options
1. Rating is enabled - The host can select what is the average rating for a bad review
- 'Sad' review (less than or equal to the chosen average), the guest will be lead to the internal Duve review page
- 'Happy' review (Greater than or equal to the chosen average) will lead to
- If the guest is from Booking.com or Airbnb OTA, they will see a prompt to remind them to post a good review on the OTA website
- If the guest is not from an OTA (or Airbnb/Booking.com) and the host inserts a link, the guest will be directed to the review link set on the Brand Settings
- Internal - If the guest is not from an OTA and the host did not insert an external link, the guest will be directed to Duve's internal feedback
2. Rating is disabled/not mandatory - Guests will be directed to the internal Duve review and can fill in free text review
