Before your guests' departure, Duve will communicate with them to get their check-out time, and share your late check-out policy and check-out instructions.
How to Set this Up?
Go to Settings > Check-Out > Basic and start setting up all your preferences
Checkout Email
Set up the email inviting them to do their Online Check-Out at the time that you have chosen.
If individual rentals have different Checkout times, you can set an override under a different brand or for different rentals (available only for Vacation Rentals).
Checkout Time Frames
Within your Pre Checkout, allow your guests to update you on what time they are planning to depart.
Settings Options:
- Select that the same time frame should show every day of the week
- Select different hours for different days of the week
To setup different hours for different days of the week, select the option of different hours per day. On each line, select the total time frame you would like the guest to choose from. The latest hour should be your Checkout time.
Make it Mandatory
You can select that this step will be mandatory in the Online Check-in by selecting Time Selection Required
Booking Sources & Status’s
Depending on their booking source, you can customize this feature to only send emails for some of your guests.
To set this up, click on the “Booking sources & Status’s” text. In the pop-up, you can choose which booking sources will receive the automated message to complete the Online Check-Out wizard, and which won’t. You can easily select booking sources to exclude completely, no matter what the reservation status is.
Here select which booking source you do want to exclude for this feature
- At any time, you can click on the button that is located in the top right corner of the screen to see the email that is sent
After setting everything up, go to Settings > Check-Out > Basic > Click on the toggle button next to "Enable pre check-out reminder emails".
To configure the steps in the Checkout, go to the Checkout Settings menu and continue down the list until all is set up the way you wish.
If you want to also offer late Check-out with additional costs, you can do this through Duve's Smart Late Check-Out or Upsells).
Extra Brands: This capability is also available to be set by brand.
The Guest Experience
In the first step of the checkout wizard, the guest will be asked to choose his Check-out time.
The latest time the guest can choose as their Checkout hour is the “Latest check out hour”.
