BridgerPay Integration

Overview

Duve now integrates with BridgerPay, a versatile Payment Service Provider (PSP) platform. This integration expands Duve’s payment capabilities, enabling hosts to connect with multiple PSPs globally.
This new integration gives hosts the flexibility to use their preferred PSPs for transactions such as room upgrades, upsells, payment for stay, and other services.
 
 
Duve offers integration to the Bridgerpay payment provider to enable guest billing, upsells and pre-authorization during the guest experience journey.
 
Duve supported Payment types:
 
  • Guest Billing
  • Upsells
Capabilities:
 
  • Direct Charges via credit card
  • Preauthorization
 
The integration does not support:
 
  • Additional Hold
 
 

How to Connect:

 

Login to the Bridgerpay dashboard.

 
The credentials for the Duve connection will be created when the host creates a new "Checkout" in Bridgerpay. The credentials will appear once and will disappear within a few seconds according to the flow of Bridgerpay. Make sure to save all credentials once created.
 
In the Bridgerpay dashboard, click the menu on the left and select "Checkout":
 
 
Create a Duve "Checkout" in the Bridgerpay interface:
 
Name it as you wish and select type - regular.
In order to view the full details, hosts can click "Activate" ➝
 
In the domain field insert: https://frontdesk.duve.com/
 
 
Then, hosts can click "Activate" to view all data➝
Note: The credentials will appear once and will disappear within a few seconds according to the flow of Bridgerpay. Make sure to save all credentials once created.
 
 
 
 

To Set up PSPs
 

Go to the Connections in the left hand menu and select which PSPs to use.

When selecting the PSPs, ensure that you are adding the credentials to the PSP and save.

Note: In order to create the connection in Duve, at least one PSP must have valid credentials in your BridgerPay account.

How to Set It Up in Duve

  1. Access the Payment Integration Settings:
    • Navigate to Settings > Billing > Collect credit card > Enable with > BridgerPay within Duve’s settings interface.

Add all the credentials from BridgerPay to Duve.

 
Important Notes: 
 
  1. In order to receive all the credentials you will need to create a "checkout" in the Bridgerpay dashboard
  2. In order for the credentials to be saved correctly, the credentials for the PSP in BridgerPay must be added.
  3. Note: Please ensure that EUR is a supported currency in the Bridgerpay account for the connection.

Set up URLs

In BridgerPay, go to Checkouts > select the Duve Checkout, then click 'Settings'. 

Insert the URL from the Duve billing page into the 'Webhook Notification URL' field (success, failure, cancel, webhook notification) and then click Save.
 
 
 
Important note: Duve integration only supports the "Worldwide" option between the platforms and hosts cannot specify payments from specific countries
 
 
 
 

Payment Page for Guests

When guests proceed to payment, a pop-up powered by the BridgerPay iframe will appear. This payment page includes several mandatory fields required by BridgerPay to complete the transaction.
 
 
Extra Fields:

BridgerPay's iFrame requires the guest to add their personal data when completing credit card transactions. In order to remove duplication of asking for these fields, complete the following setup:
 
Complete the setup of the following fields as Custom Questions and add the relevant field match:
  • Address - Enter "Address" under the Field Match > Field Name section
  • City - Enter "Address - City" under the Field Match > Field Name section
  • Zip Code - Enter "Zip Code" under the Field Match > Field Name section
