This article explains the steps required to integrate Duve with your Nuki account. In order to begin, you must have an active Duve account with the Nuki Integration added to your subscription. To inquire about adding Nuki and pricing, please contact our Support team.
Duve's Nuki integration is supporting all Smart Locks and KeyPads.
Please note: each Door must have an active Smart Hosting subscription
Overview
Nuki keys integration releases the mobile keys depending on your configuration of automatic key release time in your Settings.
The Nuki codes must be created manually on Nuki by the host for the codes to be synced to the corresponding Duve reservations. Duve recommends that the host will create codes for each reservation limited to the stay dates, so that each guest will have a unique access code for their reservation.
The Mobile Key will only work on the door from the guest's Check-in to Checkout day. The Earliest time that the guest will be able to enter the room with the code will be based on the timings set in Nuki (if relevant).
Guest Usage
Guests will be required to download a Native App to their phones in order to use the mobile keys. When guests receive the notification that the key is ready, they will be lead to the page in the Guest App titled 'Room Key' where they will see their Room key and any common doors that are available to their reservation.
How to Connect:
Go to the Key Providers page and select Nuki:
The page will refresh and forward
The customer will add their username and password to Duve and then allow permissions to access:
The customer will then be asked to provide permissions to Duve to pull information from Nuki:
Key Provider Setup
- Set up the Auto release by Reservation status:
- Should be set to either the ‘Confirmed’ or the ‘In-House’ reservation status
- The keys will only be able to unlock the door when the guest’s reservation shares the reservation status
- Should be set to either the ‘Confirmed’ or the ‘In-House’ reservation status

- To allow extra door access, to common doors for example, you can set that those doors will automatically be available to your guests. Or you can allow the doors based on tags
At the bottom you will have a table which lists all your door keys and which Door Category they belong to.

Go to the Room and you will see a section labeled ‘Key Provider’. Select Nuki as the Key Provider and then select which key you would like to assign to the door.

Once the guest door has been added to the room, the key is ready to use!

-
- Each access code must be aligned properly with the reservation in Duve in order for the codes to show properly
