
Airbnb and Duve have embarked on a collaboration, focusing on direct integration between the two platforms. This move aims to facilitate a more efficient synchronization of messages, ultimately providing hosts with a seamless experience in managing their accommodations. Unlike the current integration via specific PMSs like Beds24, Guesty, and Hostaway, this direct integration promises a direct communication channel without the PMS involvement.
This integration seamlessly syncs Airbnb conversations into Duve's Communication Hub, allowing you to manage all guest interactions from a single, unified platform -whether it's via email, WhatsApp, SMS, or now, Airbnb.

All PMS' integrated with Duve are supported with the Airbnb Integration.
Important Note: Duve supports multi-listings and 1:1 rental to listing setup in Airbnb!
Supported Message Types

Duve Supported Message Types
- Manual messages - All messages sent via the Airbnb communication channel will be sent to the Airbnb inbox
- Scheduled Messages - only messages which are sent as a Chat message will be sent to the Airbnb inbox

Limitations & Special Considerations for Airbnb Reservations:
Hosts with supported PMSs and OTAs reservations must maintain communication and message synchronization with other OTAs. Specific requirements are in place for hosts with Airbnb reservations and direct integration:
- Confirmation Emails: Will be disabled for any reservation booked through Airbnb automatically.
- WiFi Information: Only Wifi Information synced from the Airbnb API will show to the guest in the Guest App. If there's a discrepancy between the information in the account settings and the API, the data from Airbnb API takes precedence.
- Chat/Messaging in GuestApp: Airbnb reservations in GuestApp will not be able to access the chat functionality for guests.
- Reviews: Airbnb guests who complete the Online Checkout will not be prompted to complete Reviews.

Indication for Hosts of Airbnb Reservation
Messages coming from guests which were sent via Airbnb will be indicated with the Airbnb symbol
Messages from Host to Guest in both scenarios will be indicated the same
Scenario 1: Messages coming from the host which were sent via Duve to Airbnb
Scenario 2: Messages coming from the host which were sent via Airbnb and pulled into Duve via the Airbnb integration

Additional Notes:
Deactivation and Reactivation: In the event of deactivating the integration, all disabled capabilities will automatically reactivate.
Duve does not sync the conversations from leads or anonymous guests from Airbnb.
Confirmation Email - Limited by Booking source: Please note that even though there is no indication on this page that Airbnb booking source is limited, Airbnb guests will not receive the Confirmation Email.

Missing Messages
Q: Why didn't Duve send my confirmation message to Airbnb?
A: When Airbnb is connected directly to Duve, Duve gets the reservation both from Airbnb AND from the PMS. Duve then merges the reservations into one and presents it on our platform.
Sometimes it takes more than a few minutes for all 3 systems to synchronize, and so the best practice we suggest is to set the Airbnb confirmation message to be 10 minutes after reservation creation.
