Duve has introduced a new "ID Verification" condition in the Scheduled Messages, allowing hosts to send messages based on the MRZ (Machine-Readable Zone) verification status of guests. This update aligns with Duve's contactless online check-in workflow and ensures compliance with property policies while enhancing guest communication and experience.
How to Set It Up
- Access Scheduled Messages:
- Navigate to the Scheduled Messages module in Duve.
- Select Create New Message or edit an existing one.
- Add the "ID Verified" Condition:
- In the Add Condition dropdown, select "ID Verified".
- Choose the desired verification status:
- Yes (Default): Messages will be sent to all guests verified through MRZ.
- No: Messages will be sent only to unverified guests.
- TBD - Partially: Messages will be sent if only some guests in a reservation are verified (optional based on future implementation).
- Configure the Message:
- Tailor your message content to suit verified or unverified guests.
- Save and activate the scheduled message for the condition to take effect.
Use Cases
- Compliance with Verification Policies:
- Ensure only verified guests receive messages related to room assignments or other sensitive workflows.
- Enhanced Guest Communication:
- Send targeted messages to unverified guests reminding them to complete their ID verification, ensuring a smoother check-in experience.
