Duve  introduces advanced capabilities for Protel PMS integrations, including features such as Companion and Live Availability. These capabilities are only available for accounts connected through a certified Duve V2 Protel integration.

Overview

Duve V2 is the latest integration infrastructure available for Protel PMS connections. It enables access to advanced functionality and future feature support within Duve.

In order to enable V2, please contact your Protel Integrator.

Features Available with Duve V2

Companion Sync

Companion Sync is automatically included as part of the Duve V2 infrastructure.

Once your account is connected through a certified Duve V2 integration, Duve will be able to immediately sync data collected in the Online Check-in for those guests.

Live Availability

When activating Live Availability for Room Upgrades, guests who see the Room Upgrade feature will only see inventory according to the live availability within the Protel Air account.

Once V2 is enabled, enable the toggle in the Room Upgrade > Advanced for 'Check Live Availability from Protel Air'

How to Enable Duve V2 for Protel Air

Migration from V1 to V2 is managed through your Protel integrator.

To enable Duve V2:

• Contact your Protel integrator
• Request activation of Duve V2 for your Protel environment

Once enabled and certified, go to Settings > Connections > Protel Air and click the V2 button and save the page. 

FAQ

Why can I see Live Availability but not enable it?

This usually means your account is not connected through a certified Duve V2 Protel integration.

Why don’t I see the V2 option in my Protel setup?

Some Protel environments may not yet support Duve V2. Availability depends on certification status for your specific PMS environment.

Do I need to configure Companion separately?

No. Companion is automatically included as part of Duve V2.

Can Duve migrate my account from V1 to V2?

No. Activation of Duve V2 must be completed by your Protel integrator.

Does Duve V2 work for both Protel Air and Protel On-Prem?

Availability depends on certification status for each Protel environment. Some features may become available gradually as certification progresses.
