With Duve, our customers can update the reservation status in Optima 1, Mews PMS, MiniHotel and Cloudbeds by sending Pre Scheduled Messages.
To enable this feature, ensure that the toggle for Allow update reservation status is switched on in your PMS Connection:
How to set it Up?
When adding a new PreScheduled Message, the reservation status update can be added in the Conditions section
Once the message is set up and enabled, Duve will update the guest's reservation status in the PMS.
❗Limitations
1. Reservation statuses can not be skipped - confirmed can only move to in-house and in-house reservations can only be moved to Checked out. If a reservation is on confirmed and Duve attempts to update it to Checked-out, it will not work.
2. In house reservation status can only be updated on Check-in day. If Duve does a request to update the reservation status to in house before the Check-in date, the reservation status will not change.
3. A guest can not be checked-in to a room where the previous guests staying in that room have not been checked-out.
4. The room must be clean in order for the reservation to be checked-in via Duve.
5. To check-out a guest, the guest's balance on their folio must be 0.
