Duve is thrilled to introduce a powerful new feature aimed at enhancing the organization and analytics of scheduled messages: Tags. This feature provides hosts with a clearer view of their messages, improved classification, and better analytics, presenting the way for future enhancements. Tags will assign each scheduled message to a tag in order to specify the usage and the number of messages per tag.
Overview
The new tagging feature in Duve allows hosts to categorize their scheduled messages by type, making it easier to manage and analyze communications. By adding a new "Tags" column to the schedule messages table, hosts can now organize their messages into tags like Booking Confirmation, Check-in, Arrival, During Stay, Check-out, Marketing, Reviews, and Other. These tags not only enhance message organization but also provide valuable insights through improved Analytics.
How to Set It Up
Setting up tags in Duve schedule messages:
- Accessing the Tags Column: In the "Schedule messages" table, hosts can find a new "Tags" column positioned after the "Brands" column and before the "Message Type" column.
- Selecting Tags Inside the Message:
- When creating a new message or selecting a template, a popup will automatically open on the Scheduled Messages page.
- In the popup, you can select the relevant tag and change the brands if needed.
- Selecting Tags from the Schedule Message Page:
- Select the relevant scheduled message from the Schedule Message page.
- Add a tag via the new column by clicking on the tag value or "Select tag."
- Save your changes to update the tag.
After tagging your Scheduled Messages, the Guest Journey will be reflected better in the Analytics page
Tips and Tricks
To make the most of the new tagging feature, consider the following tips and tricks:
- Utilize Default Tags: Start by using the default list of categories provided. These tags cover the most common types of messages and can help you get organized quickly.
- Filter and Sort: Use the filter and sort options to manage your messages efficiently. You can filter messages by type (SMS, WhatsApp, Email) and by tag. Multiple tags can be selected to refine your search.
- Analytics Insights: Take advantage of the updated analytics to track the number of messages sent per tag. This can help hosts understand which types of messages are most effective.

Here are a few practical use cases demonstrating the benefits of the new tagging feature:
- Booking Confirmation: Tag all your booking confirmation messages to easily track and analyze how often they are sent and their impact on guest engagement.
- Check-in and Arrival: Use tags to differentiate between check-in and arrival messages. This helps in providing a seamless experience for guests while allowing you to analyze the effectiveness of each message type.

Kindly note:
In each room/rental in Duve, hosts have the ability to add "Room tags", which is not the same as Scheduled messages tags.
