OTAs provide the PMS with a unique alias email address for the reservation that is used in place of the guest's personal email address. During the Pre Check-in process, Duve asks for the personal email address of the guest in order to communicate seamlessly. Once Duve has the preferred email address of the guest it will update the contact information in the reservation in Duve.
Duve recognizes the masked email address for the following OTAs:
- agoda - guestname@agoda.messaging.com
- expedia - @expediapartnercentral.com
- Booking - guestname@guest.booking.com
- TripAdvisor
- trip
- ctrip
- Priceline
- vrbo
- Airbnb - Deprecated as of September 2023 Airbnb Settings Update regarding Alias Emails
Duve does not recognize:
- Homeaway - @messages.homeaway.com
- Rentals United - @guests.quickconnect.rentals
If you have a reservation with an OTA that is not listed above, Duve will not recognize the email address as an alias, and will not ask the guest to update their reservation with their personal email address.
If you would like to request that an OTA masked email address be added to the recognized list, please contact Duve Support at support@duve.com
Q: Our Booking.com guests are not recieving links from Duve. Is there a solution?
A: Please follow the steps in the article Booking.com Setup to ensure email & link delivery to ensure all Duve links and emails are sent to guests with Booking.com masked email addresses. This setup should be completed regardless of whether your Duve account is directly integrated to Booking.com.
Q: Our Expedia guests are not recieving any messages from Duve. Is there a solution?

Make sure you have completed Domain Verification setup.

Add 'the email listed in your Domain Verification ' to the Authorised email addresses section.
Q: Our Agoda guests are not recieving links from Duve. Is there a solution?
A: At the moment, Agoda does not allow their customers to whitelist links to protect against phishing. However, the Agoda team may approve a request with your Agoda Account Manager to add the Online Check-in portal link to the whitelist.
We already have asked our Partnerships team to explore this option with Agoda, or integrating with Agoda so that Duve may be allowed to send unique links to Agoda. For now this option is not available - see blog post here. We also recommend for you to lodge a request of this nature with Agoda team so that they can understand the urgency and prioritize a feature for that for their customers.
