Q: I have a lot of QR codes in my hotel/Rentals and they all lead to a "not exist page". What can I do?
A: QR code will normally stop working if the related Upsell/Post was deleted from your company's page.
Q: I had a Guest App post connected to a "Digital spot" and I accidentally deleted it, do I need to create a new "Digital spot" for the new post?
A: No. You can create a new post and connect it
Q: If my guest scans the QR code, logs in and then closes the tab with the guest app or service, will they have to log in to their personal Guest App again?
A: No, if the guest closes the tab with their personal Guest App, and if they scan the QR code again, the guest will be directed to their personal Guest App
Q: I am a small VR company, how can I create a QR code per rental and only show my guests details for their rental.
A: In order to accomplish this, you must create an Extra Brand for each of your properties. Within each brand, you will be able to create an individual Digital Spot and will only show posts visible to that brand.
Once you have created the extra brand, please follow these steps:
1. Assign each rental to the respective brand
2. Ensure that all posts in the Guest App are assigned to the respective brand and are assigned to be visible in the public Guest App
3. Create the Digital Spot per brand
At the end of this process, you will have a Digital Spot per rental which only includes posts for that rental. Please note that in this process, a guest will not be able to see sensitive information via the dynamic parameters such as Access Codes or Wifi. In this case the guest would have to sign into their personalized Guest App to be able to view all the personal data.
Q: Can I create a Digital Spot for Early Check-in, Late Checkout, Transportation or Room Upgrades?
A: This functionality is not available for Digital Spots.
