Duve addressing an essential aspect of guest communication: sub-reservations. Previously, sub-reservations were excused from receiving certain emails. The logic is to prevent a primary main booker guest from being flooded with multiple emails and communicate with all sub-reservations.
Introducing Configuration Options
To correct this and provide hosts with greater control over their communication strategy, we've rolled out a configuration option within the scheduled messages flow. Hosts now have the flexibility to choose whom they wish to address their messages to, enhancing targeted communication.
Note:This feature specifically is addressing Sub Reservations and not Companions within a Reservation
Key Configuration Options:
-
All Guests: This default setting ensures that messages are sent to both main bookers and sub-reservations flow.
- If the email is the same on all rooms, the message will be sent per room
- Note: In order for SMS & WhatsApp message to be sent to all guests, ensure that the phone number on each room is unique. For recommended workflow, please see How to Contact Guests of Group Reservations
- Main Booker: Opting for this setting will restrict the email or message distribution only to the primary guest, excluding sub-reservations.
The option to select the recipient will appear as 'All guests' or 'Main Booker'

Another change is the location of 'send as a user(optional)' that is available now is the option to send from a specific user or from the general frontdesk
