In this article, we will go over the E-Signature feature that will appear to your guests in their online check-in wizard.
How to Set it Up?
Go to Settings > Check-in > E-Signature
The E-Signature feature allows your guests to sign a document of your Terms and Conditions, Registration card, and Contract during the Online check-in process.
If the "Require Signing contract" is enabled, it will be required for only the Booker by default.
You can allow more guests to sign the E-Signature. Select which guests in the reservation should be required to sign the E-Signature.
Settings options:
- Only Booker
- All adults and children
- Adults (Over 18)
Add your text in the 'Your Contract' and Save.
Optional Customization
Customize per Language: Your Contract is a legal contract, therefore Duve will not automatically translate the text added. If you have your contract translated into different languages, change the language to your desired language, upload the content and Save.
Dynamic Parameters: Personalize your contract per guest by adding a guest name, email address, reservation dates, custom question answers and much more!
In addition, you can enable the opportunity to receive all of the signatures direct to your email address, and save them or delete them once they will be sent.
Add "Special notes": Under Rental Data, you will be able to add information per rental, which can be added to the Contract
- To add Special Notes, search for your Rental, scroll to the bottom and add your rental's special notes
Contract Number: Each document is assigned a number if using the dynamic parameter {{EsignatureRunningNumber}}
Preview: In order to see what it will look like and change it if needed.
Booking Source Customization: Limit the E-Signature step by Booking Source
The Guest Experience
While the guest completes the pre-check-in, they will see the E-signature contract that they should sign ->
That's it!
