Digital spots are the best way for your guests to connect to any place or service in your property through the digital experience.
How Does it work?
The digital spots allow your guests to instantly access any page or product in your Guest App by scanning a QR code on-site or use the link on your website.
This will allow you to share public URLs so guests can experience your brand at anytime from anywhere.
Getting a link or QR code to share
In order to get a public link that any guest can access, head over to the settings in the Settings menu and click on Digital Spots.
Click ‘Add New’ and then select what Spot you would like to create. You are able to create links and codes to:
- Public Guest App
- Any public Post on your Guest App
- Services or Upsells
- Online Check-in
After creating the Digital Spot and adjusting to which post/link is connected, Save the Digital Spot and Download!
Public Guest App
Unlike the Guest App links that Duve sends to guests before their arrival, the public Guest App link that you create in the Digital Spots does not include personal and reservation details.
Since anyone is able to scan the code or follow the public link, the Digital Spot link is not customized with the guest or reservation details.
You can control which posts will be visible to guests that are not logged in by going to your guidebook. Clicking on a post > advance settings and enabling the “Show in public Guest App” section.
Only posts that have been enabled will be visible to guests that are not logged in.
Digital spots can be created per brand. To do this, make sure you are on a brand and not managing the main settings, and create a new digital spot within the brand.
You will be able to see exactly what Digital Spots are guests scanning and how often on the Duve Analytics page.
