If you are changing PMS or Channel Managers which are connected to Duve, please follow these steps:
Before you start the process, please request a list of rentals with the External IDs from your new PMS. This is important regarding mapping your rentals from your old PMS to the new PMS and will prevent rentals from being duplicated in your account.
Step 1: Replace all rental External IDs from your Old PMS to your new PMS
Go to your Rentals/Rooms page, click on a Rental, go to the Connectivity and replace the External ID with a rental External ID from your new PMS
Step 2: Turn off your Confirmation Email
If your reservations are currently connected to your new Sync source, you need to disable the Confirmation Email temporarily, so that your newly synced reservations do not receive a duplicate confirmation email.
Step 3: Add your New Sync Source
To add your New Connection, click 'Add New Source'
Select your PMS or CM and complete the Connection. You can use the Step by Step Guide at the bottom of the page to help guide you through the connection process.
Step 4: Delete duplicate Reservations
In order to ensure that your guests do not receive duplicate communications, delete the NEW not Pre Checked-in reservations coming from your new PMS/CM only of guests who have already completed Pre Check-in
For Example: the second Ross Geller reservation should be deleted from Duve since the first reservation has already completed Pre Check-in.
Step 5: Turn on your Confirmation Email
Now that you have completed all the other steps, turn back on your Confirmation Email.
Step 6: Delete old PMS Sync Source
Go to your Connect&Sync page in your Settings, remove your old connection. To delete your old connection, click on the connection and Delete.
